What is the Chronic Wounds Consumable Scheme?

The Chronic Wounds Consumable Scheme (CWCS) is an Australian Government initiative launched in June 2025, intended to reduce the financial burden of chronic wound care by providing fully-funded access to essential wound care products.

Who is Eligible?

People who have diabetes and a chronic wounds, and who are 65 and over, or 50 and over for First Nations people.
